New Delhi: The All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) has issued a strong comment regarding the young man who was beaten to death in Uttam Nagar, Delhi. Asaduddin Owaisi's party has termed the young man's murder as "self-defence". AIMIM Delhi state chief Shoaib Jamai alleged that the Muslim woman was molested and that the young man had picked up the boys from the gym. However, he condemned the incident, calling both parties victims. Jamai also said that Muslims in the area are scared since the incident.

What did AIMIM Delhi state chief Shoaib Jamai say?

Shoaib claimed that the incident occurred after molestation and is being covered up. In a video message, he said, "A few days ago, an unfortunate incident occurred in Uttam Nagar. A very false narrative is being presented. The two families had been living together for years. There was a dispute between them. One was a Muslim family and the other was Hindu. It's not uncommon for disputes to occur between them. The dispute escalated over the molestation of a woman." She came crying, asking what happened. The news is being hidden.

Shoaib Jamai, while stating that people on both sides were injured, also said that the incident was carried out in self-defense. He alleged that Tarun had brought boys from the gym and had gone to attack the Muslim family. He said, "People on both sides were injured. A minor child was injured. People from the Muslim side suffered serious injuries. One of the boys, Tarun, was unfortunately killed. He had brought several people from the gym to attack. What should that family do, or not resort to self-defense? What kind of mentality is this? They molest and then say don't feel bad. This is a criminal mindset. She was molested, and her house was burned down. The belongings from the house were looted. Who is the victim? Both families suffered. Why is a one-sided narrative being created? Who will demand justice for her?"

What stance has the AIMIM taken?

The AIMIM leader accused the Delhi government of discriminatory action and expressed his anger over the bulldozer action. He said, "The Delhi government is acting in a discriminatory manner. This is not right. This is setting a bad example. The Delhi Chief Minister is taking unilateral action just for the sake of a vote bank. This is not right. Who gives you the right to demolish houses? The court will decide who is guilty. Who are you demolishing houses? His house is illegal, while the others are legal. Are the houses built by Hindus there legal? The questions are very serious. Who gave the permission to burn houses?

What is the situation in Uttam Nagar?

Jamai said that there is tension in the entire area. The Muslim community is scared. There are some Muslim families there, everyone is scared. The atmosphere in Delhi should not deteriorate." He said, "We are not in favor of taking the law into our own hands. The murder of Tarun is unfortunate, and we condemn it. But injustice should not be done to that family. This narrative is wrong." It's important to understand whose fault it was. The media is portraying it as false. RSS and Bajrang Dal members are scaring people. Calling for genocide against Muslims is no excuse. Five Muslims were also murdered this week. What will you do to ensure justice for them? Were the homes of those criminals demolished? Your bulldozers operate based on religion. We saw this in Uttar Pradesh, and is the same thing happening in Delhi?' Jamai said his party delegation would meet with both parties.
